The perfect mobile therapy !
Indian Head Massage is one of the most
popular and accessible therapies available today - it requires no
undressing or special equipment – the only requirements are your hands &
a low backed chair, which makes it extremely mobile. Treatment includes
massage of the upper back/shoulders, arms, neck, scalp, face and energy
balancing. This comprehensive three-day course provides
students with the opportunity to achieve a professional standard of
competence in the art of Indian Head Massage and promotes the
confidence needed to work effectively with clients.

COURSE STRUCTURE |

Practical
Techniques
include effleurage, friction, kneading, petrissage, percussion,
compression, pressure points and other specialised techniques.
New massage skills are taught each of the three days, plus time
to refine and consolidate techniques. |

Theory
Includes history,
contraindications, benefits, hair care and the use of oils,
headaches, stress, client consultation, chakra energy, study of
the relevant anatomy. |

The emphasis of the
course
is on practical techniques. |
RECOGNITATION & PREREQUISITES
This course is recognised by
the CThA (Embody) and the Complementary Medical Association (CMA)
and is recognised for
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits.
The
course is ideal for students who are new to massage, and for therapists
who wish to add a new therapy to their existing skills.

Exam fee: £60 -
Practical 45 mins. - Multiple choice theory 45 mins - Fee can be paid
when ready to take exam on completion of 5 case studies.
