"I have to say thank you for the Ear Candling course – it has been most successful for my business, especially at this time of year – it is amazing how many people suffer in silence"

Samantha Hardwick - Time Out Massage, Haslemere, Surrey - www.timeoutmassage.biz

Carol trained with Mary Dalgleish, co-author of Ear Candling in Essence and Indian Head Massage in Essence and is accredited by the London-based company, Hands-on-Training, to teach this wonderful treatment.

Our ancestors left an incredible legacy of healing knowledge and many of their practices have been rediscovered for use in the modern world; one such healing tool is the ancient art of ear candling. This gentle yet effective therapy is an ideal way to relieve conditions that can effect us on a daily basis such as headaches, migraines, ear aches, tinnitus, compacted ear wax, glue ear, sinus problems, stress and more.  This course provides students with the opportunity to add this gentle, non-invasive therapy to the range of treatments they can provide to their clients. An ear candling treatment requires a pair of specialised candles to be used in the ears, followed with a gentle massage to enhance the effects of the candling. A full treatment takes approximately 45 minutes.

Course Structure:

  • History of Ear Candling
  • How the ear candles work
  • Benefits and contraindications
  • Anatomy of the ear and sinuses
  • Safety
  • Observe, carry out and receive a full treatment, including ear candling and a specialised massage sequence of the face, neck, scalp and ears (a full treatment lasts 45 minutes)

  • Final assessment
